Summer is a favorite time for outdoor games and walks. But sometimes circumstances force us to celebrate holidays and important dates at home. What to do in such cases? Sing karaoke!

Karaoke can become a good tradition that brings the whole family together. Set a karaoke time for a specific time of the week. For example, from 7 to 8 PM every Saturday. Turn off your phones so nothing distracts you from each other. Come up with a theme for the evening in advance to have time to choose an appropriate repertoire, prepare costumes, and gather all the necessary stage props. Involve the younger ones in the creative process of developing a stage persona and rehearsing the performance. This is excellent creative entertainment that will keep them busy for a few hours.

Meanwhile, a number of studies show that singing is a great warm-up that positively affects the overall development of thinking, brain function, and understanding other people’s emotions. By singing songs in English or French, we learn to better understand phrases by ear, feel the grammar, build vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and get closer to the culture of native speakers.
