Today we’re going to figure out why the Evolution Pro2 karaoke system can fail and how to perform the Recovery System.
The karaoke system uses a hard disk to store data, which is sensitive to an incorrect shutdown. By pulling the plug out of the socket, you can inadvertently damage the system settings, which will result in a complete or partial failure of the device.
Turn off the karaoke system only with the ‘Power’ button on the front panel.
The situation is similar with voltage surges. No matter how reliable the device is, the electronics remain very sensitive to changes in the AC network voltage. We recommend always use a voltage stabilizer or uninterrupted power supply to avoid failure.
However, if the problem did occur, you can do the karaoke recovery system on your own. Please draw your attention that after recovery the system resets to factory settings.
After pressing the ‘Power’ button on the front panel of the karaoke system, smoothly press the left key Shift on the keyboard several times.
If it didn’t work the first time, try again. A menu will appear on the screen where you need to select ‘The Recovery System Boot’.
In the recovery system, select ‘Restore Data’. Click the ‘Restore’ button. The recovery process will take from 3 to 5 minutes.
After the recovery is complete, click OK in the dialog box and restart the karaoke system.
You must update the karaoke software after recovery. Make sure it is connected to the Internet. This is confirmed by the blue colour of the indicator in the upper right corner next to the ‘Menu’ button. Enter the menu and select “Settings”. Next select the “Update” tab and update the software.
If the problem is not solved, please contact Studio Evolution Technology Support or contact a representative of the company in your region.
