What child doesn’t want to pretend to be a popular star at the best music party of the year? We offer you a scenario that will turn a regular kids’ birthday party into a real show where the birthday child can feel like a superstar on a big stage.
Invitations
What’s a show without tickets? Print invitations that look exactly like concert tickets. Send them to the guests in advance or hand them out before the event starts.
Costumes
Children love costume parties just as much as singing. Ask the kids to prepare costumes of the stars they want to be before the party. You can even make costume creation a part of the celebration. Prepare wigs, various “star” props, sunglasses, inflatable guitars, and, of course, glitter — kids love it.
Star Venue
Decorate the room like the lobby of a luxurious concert hall. Old vinyl records, posters, and party streamers can all be put to good use.

Stage
Set up a stage where the action will take place. An elevated platform is ideal, but a small area visually separated from the rest of the space will also work. The background can be decorated with bright fabric and beams of spotlights made from desk lamps aimed at it.
Tracklist
Find out in advance what songs the little stars are going to sing. Find the tracks in the huge EVOBOX catalog and add them to the favorites on your karaoke system to create a tracklist for the show program. This will allow you to formally announce each participant’s performance and award prizes for nominations.
Treats
Prepare themed treats. Cupcakes or pastries in the shape of microphones would be perfect. The birthday child will need a cake in the form of a music award. Separately, make several sweet awards for the best performance, the best costume, and a people’s choice award for the other guests.
Contests
Although the main contest is the guests’ star performances, you can definitely make the evening more fun by organizing a few games. We have written in detail about karaoke games for kids in a separate article.
Make Some Noise!
What could be more fun for kids than making noise with a microphone with absolute impunity? Turn on the karaoke, turn up the volume, and start the party!
Nominations
Don’t forget about the nominations. The prize can be a sweet treat or a small toy. Let everyone be a winner tonight. Some nominations can be invented right during the party: the most stylish hairstyle, the best performance of a hit song, the brightest singer, and so on. Let your imagination run wild.
The Star’s Entrance
The final act will be the long-awaited performance of the birthday child, accompanied by deafening applause from the guests. After the star performance comes the official part: the ceremonial blowing out of candles on a prestigious award made of sponge cake and cream.
Don’t forget to throw an afterparty. The best karaoke party in the world is just getting started!
