White Christmas
Human Nature
Как и многие другие в нашем списке, песня о белом Рождестве написана в те времена, когда деревья были выше, шуба Деда Мороза краснее, а снег – белее. По крайней мере, такое лирическое ощущение оставляет после себя песня White Christmas.

| White Christmas | Human Nature | I, I just can’t take any bows for this next song Really a jackdaw with a cleft palate could have sung it successfully You gotta give full credit to its composer, Mr. Irving Berlin I’m dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the tree tops glisten and children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white I’m dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the tree tops glisten and children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cne3GAB4W5I |

| Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! | Dean Martin | Oh, the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful And since we’ve no place to go Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow Man, it doesn’t show signs of stopping And I brought some corn for popping The lights are turned way down low Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow When we finally kiss good-night How I’ll hate going out in the storm But if you really hold me tight All the way home I’ll be warm And the fire is slowly dying And, my dear, we’re still good-bye-ing But as long as you love me so Let it snow, let it snow and snow When we finally kiss good-night How I’ll hate going out in the storm But if you really grab me tight All the way home I’ll be warm The fire is slowly dying And, my dear, we’re still good-bye-ing But as long as you love me so Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rnil5LyK_B0 |

| Last Christmas | Wham! | Happy Christmas Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year To save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year To save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special Once bitten and twice shy I keep my distance But you still catch my eye Tell me, baby Do you recognize me? Well, it’s been a year It doesn’t surprise me Merry Christmas I wrapped it up and sent it With a note saying «I love you» I meant it Now I know what a fool I’ve been But if you kissed me now I know you’d fool me again Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year To save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year To save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special Oh, oh, baby A crowded room Friends with tired eyes I’m hiding from you And your soul of ice My god, I thought you were someone to rely on Me? I guess I was a shoulder to cry on A face on a lover with a fire in his heart A man under cover, but you tore me apart Now I’ve found a real love. You’ll never fool me again Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year To save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year To save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special A face on a lover with a fire in his heart I gave you my heart A man under cover, but you tore him apart Maybe next year I’ll give it to someone— I’ll give it to someone special Special Someone Someone I’ll give it to someone— I’ll give it to someone special Who give me something in return I’ll give it to someone— Hold my heart and watch it burn I’ll give it to someone— I’ll give it to someone— I’ll give it to someone special I thought you were here to stay How could you love me for a day I thought you were someone special Gave you my heart I’ll give it to someone— I’ll give it to someone— Last Christmas I gave you my heart You gave it away I’ll give it to someone— I’ll give it to someone— | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8gmARGvPlI |
